Today i would like to present you a japanese sake brewery next to Akama-kan, founded in 1781. Here, no comparison with the cheap chinese alcohol served in Europe sushi restaurants.
If you go to this place, you could buy some good sake, and landlady will also offer you to visite this preserved old house and the workshop ! She will passionately explain you the sake’s making process. You will be able to approch closely craftmen at work, to see fermenting rice… The best period to come is from november to march because the most important works are done directly after the rice harvest in october.
